The district of Montecchio (VI) assigned the organization to a specifically set up Local Organization Committee made up of representatives of the sporting club A.S.D. Pattinaggio Alte Ceccato, one of the peak Italian inline speed skating sport clubs, that has already organized top-level events in this field.
The experience acquired through the years represents a guarantee for the successful outcome of the event, recognized by World Skate as well.
The district of Vicenza agreed with the idea of the nomination and operates alongside the district of Montecchio and the COL.

Some general info
World Skate, the International Federation of Roller Sports (WS), assigned to Italy the 2023 Inline Speed Skating World Cup organization, namely to the district of Montecchio (VI).
This spectacular and entertaining event involves thousands of participants.
4 different disciplines
Speed skating includes different typologies of disciplines, each of which has its specific features and takes place in a different context.
Track races
A highly technical discipline. Athletes compete over different distances, also including a relay, cheered by a passionate audience.
Road races
Medium-long distance races, a perfect combination of technique and strategy.
100mt
The most engaging competition, few seconds of pure adrenaline.
Road marathon
From Olympic Games to speed skating, the most iconic race is reproposed to bring together sport and community.
Alte Ceccato Skating Rink
The skating rink is the core of the event, a structure that represents worldwide excellence.
Improvement actions are scheduled for the event and are going to remain as a legacy also in the following years.
Temporary grandstands are going to be implemented looking forward for the high number of viewers expected during the whole duration of the event.
Upon previous order, hot or cold dishes and beverages are daily available next to the rink.
Sorelle Ramonda Arena
Road Races take place in the Sorelle Ramonda Arena, while the 100mt is hosted by the district of Vicenza. The marathon takes place in a closed circuit through the streets of Montecchio Maggiore.
These choices come from the peculiar technical features of the arena together with the aim of involving the highest possible number of spectators.
Temporary grandstands are going to be added here as well, to allow the large audience to attend the event.
